Excellent food! Prices reasonable! Classic WI bar...license plates on the wall, log siding interior, animal mounts, regulars at the bar! Had plenty of seating. Service prompt!
The Shop provided food for the Village Players Community Theatre Annual Meeting and Patron Appreciation Dinner (held at another location). The pork was awesome, the salads scrumptious and their kitchen staff went the extra mile to be sure we had what we needed. Our hats off to Kari and the staff!
Always a great place for a beverage and meal. Bring your cash or your PIN for the ATM - No credit cards accepted. Handicap access is good.
The Friday fish fry is amazing. A huge piece of walleye (or couple other choices), with your choice of potato side. The walleye was some of the best fish fry I've had anywhere. Dan the bartender is also great - friendly, funny, and provides great service. If you just want a drink and snacks, they provide free peanuts by the pool table. The Shop is a gem in the middle of the Northwoods. Definitely recommended!
After a long day of fishing we thought we would try The Shop fish fry. Everything about the that decision was excellent. The place was very busy but clean and organized, the service was friendly and quick, the fried cod was among the best I've ever had, and all at a price of a plain hamburger in the Twin Cities. Anxious to try The Shop other menu items!!
